Police: 2 gunshot victims crash into cab while fleeing shooter

Police say two men were shot while sitting inside a parked car on Webster Avenue Sunday morning, and got into a crash while trying to flee the area.

Authorities say a 19-year-old man was shot in the head and a 35-year-old man was shot in the back and shoulder around 7:15 a.m.

The two victims then attempted to flee their attacker by car. They eventually collided with a livery cab driver, whose car launched through the Fordham Road bus stop.

Police say both men were transported to Lincoln Hospital and are expected to survive. The livery cab driver did not sustain any injuries and there were no commuters waiting in the bus stop at the time of the accident.
