Officials: Dozens with BX ties indicted for drugs, murder

Dozens of suspected gang members with ties to the Bronx were indicted Wednesday on charges that include drug trafficking and murder.

Police say the bust was a joint operation between the NYPD, Homeland Security and the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Officials say the ring existed between 2010 and last month.

Court documents reveal some of the suspects are believed to be responsible for the shooting death of Jose Morales at East 175 Street and Weeks Avenue in December 2016.
