DSNY trucks clear slushy roadways in Riverdale
The New York City Department of Sanitation was out in full force Tuesday, clearing roads during the hazardous snowstorm.
Plows repeatedly drove along Riverdale Avenue to keep the roadway clear for cars and buses.
While the road was passable and coated with wet, slushy snow, the plowing led to some parked cars getting snowed in.
Drivers were urged to use caution on the slick roads and be careful of those crossing streets.
