Man accused of punching 88-year-old in the Bronx

A man is accused of punching an 88-year-old man in the face while he was walking along the street in the Bronx, police say. 



The incident happened Monday on East 196th Street and Briggs Avenue around 1: 30 p.m.



Police say the suspect walked up to the man unprovoked and began punching him in the face before running away.



The suspect did not steal anything from the man, and police say the two do not know each other.
