Bronx man with dementia missing for nearly a month

A Bronx man suffering from dementia has been missing for nearly a month, according to his family.
Friends and family are desperately searching for a missing Bronx man with dementia.
Derrick Cooke, 68, has been missing since Feb. 25. He was last seen in the area of East Tremont Avenue.
His nephew tells News 12 the two were walking together. When he turned and looked behind him, he realized his uncle was gone.
His family says this isn't the first time this has happened. In October 2016, Cooke went missing but was later found on 3rd Avenue and taken to Lincoln Hospital.
Cooke was last seen wearing a blue coat, beige pants, gray sneakers and a hat.
His family has filed a missing person's report with police, and they plan on posting fliers in the neighborhood.
