Police probe 2 attempted child luring cases in the Bronx

Police are investigating two child luring cases in the Bronx.

The first incident happened March 2 on Eastchester Road in Allerton before 9 a.m.

Police say a 13-year-old girl was walking to school when a group of men driving a white pickup truck with the words 'Empire Architecture Group' on the side of it began following her for about a block.

The girl told police one of the men shouted at her to come over to the truck, but she ignored them and kept walking.

The second incident happened Monday on Barnes Avenue and East 214th Street in Williamsbridge.

A 12-year-old girl told police she was followed by a man driving a white van on her way to school.

However, police say the girl has a history of reporting similar cases.

Investigators are not sure if the two cases are connected.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS
