Officials: Woman badly burned in Bronx house fire

A woman was badly burned after a fire broke out inside a Bronx home Monday.



The fire started inside the first and second floor of 4111 Bronxwood Ave. in Wakefield after 7 a.m.



Officials say the woman suffered burns to over 70 percent of her body before she went into cardiac arrest. 



She was transported to Montefiore Hospital in critical condition.



Officials say two other people were also injured in the fire but are expected to be OK. 



The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
