Forecast: Rain clears overnight; Sunshine expected Friday

New Jersey saw mostly cloudy skies with scattered rain showers for most of Thursday.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that temperatures Thursday were below average in the low- to mid-40s.

Thursday’s overnight hours should see most of the rain stop, with partly cloudy skies. Temperatures should drop into the mid-30s.

Friday morning may see some clouds, but sunshine should increase for the rest of the day. Temperatures are expected to warm into the low-50s, which is cool for this time of year.

Saturday should see mostly sunny skies, but some rain could be possible. High temperatures should reach the upper-50s.

Sunday should see mostly sunny skies as well with temperatures in the low-60s.
