Forecast: Scattered thunderstorms expected overnight into Wednesday

EDISON -

New Jersey saw a mix of sun and clouds Tuesday with temperatures in the mid- to upper-70s.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Michele Powers says that scattered rain and the possibility of a thunderstorm are possible Tuesday night into Wednesday.

Temperatures should cool into the upper-60s and low-70s overnight with cloudy skies.

Wednesday should see rain in the morning, followed by increasing sunshine. High temperatures should reach the upper-80s.

Thursday should see mostly sunny skies with a high of around 82 degrees.

Similar conditions are expected for Friday.
