Forecast: Temps in the upper-60s overnight; thunderstorm possible Tuesday

New Jersey saw much cooler temperatures Monday than residents have been used to as of late.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist SallyAnn Mosey says that temperatures peaked in the mid- to upper-70s Monday afternoon. Temperatures should cool into the upper-60s overnight.

Monday’s overnight hours should continue to see mostly cloudy skies with the possibility of some light rain.

Tuesday should remain mostly cloudy with a high of around 79 degrees. There is also the chance of a thunderstorm.

Wednesday should see mostly sunny skies with a high of around 84 degrees. A thunderstorm could be possible.
