Forecast: Flurries possible Wednesday, record cold Thanksgiving on the way

NORWALK -

Connecticut will see one of the coldest Thanksgiving's in recent memory, according to News 12 meteorologists.

Wednesday's forecast will be sunny and there is a chance for light snow or flurries.

News 12 meteorologists say Wednesday's high will be around 40 degrees.

Frigid cold air will begin to filter in Wednesday night with lows expected to be around 19 degrees.

Thanksgiving  Day will be sunny but very cold with highs will only in the mid 20's and midday wind chills expected to drop into the teens or lower.

This could also be the coldest Thanksgiving on record. Records for the Hartford area go back to 1905. 

Friday will be sunny with a high around 35 degrees.
