THE BRONX -

City leaders joined in on a stickball competition Friday at Joyce Kilmer Park in Concourse Village as part of Bronx Week.

The 10-day Bronx Week extravaganza has been packed with events and activities that highlight the best of what the Bronx has to offer. Friday's friendly stickball competition was meant to promote exercise.

The matchup pinned elected officials  from all over the city, including Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr., against each other for bragging rights.

Bronx Week has been a tradition in the borough for more than 40 years.
