Food lovers packed into Brooklyn Bazaar Sunday for a Taco Takedown.

The event gave locals a chance to showcase their unique taco recipes.

There were 15 different kinds of tacos for people to try, and taco lovers told News 12 the event was a dream come true.

Matthew Timms has been organizing the food tasting competitions, also known as takedowns, throughout Brooklyn for the past 15 years.

Timms says he plans to organize hot dog and ice cream takedowns in the future.
