MORRISANIA -

Police are searching for a man they say slashed another person across the face with a box cutter in Morrisania.

Authorities say the incident occurred on May 13 after the two got into some sort of an argument.

According to police, video shows the suspect buying items from Albathaa Deli on Prospect Avenue around 5 a.m.  Moments after, police say he made his way outside the deli where a fight broke out between him and the victim.

Police say the 23-year-old victim was rushed to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition, but is now out of the hospital.

Authorities are not going into detail about what they were arguing about, and it's still unclear if the two knew each other.
