BK theater to host women-only 'Wonder Woman' screening

NEW YORK -

The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Downtown Brooklyn is holding a women-only screening of the upcoming film "Wonder Woman" this Sunday.

The showing has already sold out, but the theater promised on Twitter to give proceeds to Planned Parenthood.

The women-only screenings drew some backlash on social media, but some people say it's a great idea. The showings will also be staffed by women.

"Wonder Woman" hits theaters nationwide this Friday.
