Production company breaks ground on 10-acre sound stage

The groundbreaking of a new sound stage in the Bronx could further increase the already booming number of television shows that shoot in New York City.
York Studio, a television and film production company, will call 10 acres of land off of Story Avenue in Soundview its home in the future after construction began Tuesday.
The Michelangelo campus will hold nine sound stages along with production and workshop space.
The company previous work includes movies like “Godzilla” and “This Is Where I Leave You.”
