Bronx man accused of working with terror group faces charges

A Bronx man accused of working with and receiving training from a terror group is facing charges, according to police.
The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York says Ali Kourani is believed to have been trained by the organization Hezbollah and gathered intelligence in the city.
They say he was working with another man in Michigan to assess the “vulnerability” of targets in the city, according to court documents.
Kourani was born in Lebanon and legally entered the country in 2003.
He lived in a Kingsbridge apartment building until his arrest.
Kourani faces charges including conspiracy to receive military training from a foreign terrorist organization.
