Police: Woman stabbed, 1 other injured after fight

A woman was stabbed and another slashed after an argument in the Bronx Tuesday, police say.

The incident happened on Webb Avenue in Kingsbridge just after 12 a.m.

Police say a 30-year-old woman and a 36-year-old woman got into an argument before the younger woman slashed the older woman in her ear.

Police say a man came to the defense of his 36-year-old girlfriend and stabbed the 30-year-old woman in the chest before running away.

Both were transported to the hospital where the 30-year-old woman remains in critical condition with serious injuries, police say.
