Bronx dads are celebrating Father’s Day with an event in Soundview.

The 10th annual Father's Day Fair, sponsored by the Department of Youth and Community Development, is being held at the Sonia Sotomayor Community Center.

The event features carnival games, a slide, face-painting and even a full pinewood derby.

Organizers from the city’s Fatherhood Initiative say the fair is meant to remind everyone how important a dad's involvement is in a child's life.

The group says it has programs and events to help fathers year-round.
