Best of the Bronx: Covering costs of parking tickets

THE BRONX -

A Monroe College student is introducing a new way to pay for parking and driving tickets.

Sean Gordon is launching Lawfully Secured, an insurance company of sorts.

By using the service, for $29 per month any tickets you receive will automatically be covered in full. A plan even covers tickets from out of state.

"I received more than $3,000 worth of parking tickets within a six-month time period just living and working in New York City," Gordon says. "I was like 'man, there's got to be a way or something to protect my pockets from the city taking so much money from me,'"

Lawfully Secured also rewards those who do not receive parking tickets. Those customers are eligible to get their money back in full at any time.
