The family of a Soundview man who was fatally shot early Friday morning say they hope police can find their son's killer and learn what his motive was.
As News 12 reported, 32-year-old Darren Massenburg was shot multiple times in the head near the Soundview Houses around 2:30 a.m. Friday.
Police describe the suspect as about 5 foot 9 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds. Surveillance video shows him wearing black pants, sneakers and a hooded sweatshirt with a logo on the front of it.
Massenburg's parents say he was staying with them in another building within the housing development but are unsure as to why he was heading to the building where he was shot.
