Police: Gunfire reported at Kings Plaza Shopping Center

Police responded to reports of gunfire at Kings Plaza Shopping Center Saturday night, officials say.

Police say shots were fired just before 6 p.m.

Witnesses say the mall was put on lock down. Shoppers and workers were eventually evacuated.

Shane George tells News 12 he was at Popeyes when he heard several gunshots and saw people running.

News 12 is told no one was injured.

Two people have been taken into custody, and one gun was found.

Details surrounding the suspects and their motives are under investigation.
