Police seek armed robbery suspects in Melrose

Police are searching for two men connected to armed robberies in Melrose.

The first incident happened in front of 700 East 156th St. on July 16.

Police say the suspects approached a 57-year-old man with a gun. While one struggled with the victim, the other suspect struck the man in the back of the head and ran away with his jewelry.

The second incident happened near 829 Cauldwell Ave. the following day, during which the suspects attacked and robbed another man as well.

Anyone with information about the suspects or the robberies is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
