THE BRONX -

Police say an 18-year-old has been charged with manslaughter Tuesday after a domestic violence dispute turned deadly in University Heights.

They say Luis Moux placed 43-year-old Stanley Washington, who was having a fight with his mother, in a choke hold.

Officials say Washington was pronounced dead at the hospital.

According to neighbors, the victim and the woman had dated, but they say they aren't sure if they were still in a relationship.

News 12 is told the two people were often seen arguing outside the woman's building on University Avenue.
