Boogie Down Bites: Milk Burger to celebrate 1-year anniversary next month
The Milk Burger in Port Morris is gearing up to celebrate its one-year anniversary next month.
The restaurant is located on Bruckner Boulevard and Saint Ann's Avenue.
Owner Erik Mayor says he brought his burger shop from East Harlem to the South Bronx last year.
"I grew up in Spanish Harlem, so a very cultured area," he says. "I feel like moving to the South Bronx, it was just like moving to another part of my living room or apartment."
Mayor says there's a special sauce they put on their signature milkburger.
He says the menu includes 11 other burgers, along with salads and milkshakes.
