Citi Bike to expand in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn

Citi Bike has announced a plan to expand its program in certain parts of the city.

The expansion impacts Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn, but offers no timeframe for coming to the Bronx.

The bike sharing program will add 2,000 new bikes and 140 more stations.

Citi Bike has doubled since its launch in 2013 from 6,000 to 12,000 bikes.
