Police: 23-year-old stabbed by group of men in Morris Heights

Police say a young man was slashed in Morris Heights Friday night.

According to officials, the man was on the corner of West Tremont and Davidson avenues before a confrontation with a group of three or four men. Police say one of those men was carrying a knife.

That is when the victim was slashed on the arms and across his back.

The victim, who is said to be 23 years old, was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital around 8 p.m. He is reportedly in stable condition.

Police are investigating the incident.
