Cheddar Afternoon Business Update 9/11: Twitter eyes 'Tweet Storm' feature

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK -

Amazon's nearly $14 billion purchase of Whole Foods is already paying off for the e-commerce giant.

Customer traffic is up 25 percent since the takeover last month, according to a study by Four Square Labs. The reason? Price cuts of up to 43 percent on popular and organizer grocery items.

Meanwhile, Twitter is considering a new 'Tweet Storm' feature, for those moments when 14 characters is not enough. Screenshots leaked show an option to create a thread of up to 352 Tweets.

Lastly, Elon Musk shared a photo of the full Space-X space suit. The Instagram photo shows the white and black suit next to a 'crew dragon' capsule. The suit is what the crew will wear for the capsule's eventual launch.
