Boogie Down Bites: Black Whale

Posted: Updated:
CITY ISLAND -

The Black Whale restaurant has been serving up satisfying meals for nearly 40 years.

The Black Whale first opened in City Island in the 1960s as a dessert shop.

About four years ago, the Giaccone family took over and put a bit of their own flavor on the menu.

The Black Whale features new American-style dishes and of course, a lot of seafood.

Options include Red Snapper, New Zealand muscles, and lobster tail stuffed with shrimp and crab.
