71-year-old woman with Alzheimer’s, dementia goes missing

A 71-year-old woman with Alzheimer's disease and dementia has gone missing, according to her daughter, who says she has not been seen since being discharged from King County Hospital Tuesday.
Ella Evans says her elderly mother Mary Evans visited the hospital Sunday for treatment for asthma.
She tells News 12 Brooklyn that upon calling Tuesday to check on the status of her mother, the staff said that Mary had already been released and possibly took a cab. Evans says the hospital usually calls her regarding discharge.
Evans and her family have been searching places that her mother frequents, such as a Bed-Stuy church and her old apartment.
News 12 has learned Evans has since filed a missing persons report.
News 12 reached out to Kings County Hospital for a statement but has not yet heard back.
