Pet shop gathers donations for victims of Hurricane Maria

Maria's Pet Shop and Grooming is accepting donations for victims of Hurricane Maria.

The owner of the shop is also communicating with local businesses to try to get some bigger donations.

The store is still looking for someone to take the items to Puerto Rico.

“Puerto Rico is a small island, but we have a big heart," said Maria Agrinsonis.

The drive is happening until 9 p.m. Saturday at 1382 White Plains Road. The store will also be collecting donations Sunday from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
