2 families displaced by Morris Avenue building fire

THE BRONX -

Two families were displaced Saturday afternoon after a fire ripped through two apartments in Fordham.

Firefighters battled the blaze on the sixth floor of the Morris Avenue building.

Officials tell News 12 a woman sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention.

Both families affected by the fire are being assisted by the Red Cross.

Officials say the fire marshal is investigating the exact cause of the fire.
