Police seek 2 suspects accused of punching, robbing 12-year-old

THE BRONX -

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects cause on surveillance video.

The suspects are accused of punching a 12-year-old boy in the face and stealing his cellphone.

The incident happened on Washington Avenue and East 167th Street just after 5 p.m. a little over a week ago.

Police believe the suspects are between the ages of 13 and 16.

News 12 is told the 12-year-old victim sustained swelling to his face.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
