Dozens of families displaced after 5-alarm fire in Soundview
Dozens of families were displaced after a five-alarm fire ripped through a building in the Bronx.
The fire broke out at 1486 Watson Ave., near Evergreen Avenue on Sunday.
At least 39 families have been displaced, according to the American Red Cross.
Photos from the scene show flames and thick smoke billowing from the building's windows.
At least nine firefighters suffered minor injuries, according to officials.
Fire officials say an electrical problem between the roof and top-floor ceiling may be to blame.
The blaze is the second five-alarm fire in the area in the last week.
