Close to 200,000 people are expected at this year's New York Comic Con, the largest East Coast convention of pop culture.

Attendees are traveling from all across the county to see some of their favorite heroes and heroines from comic books and the big screen.

Comic Con features panelists and vendors, as well as the camaraderie of meeting other comic and pop culture fans.

There are even quiet rooms within the Javits Center for those who need a break from the commotion of the crowds.
