Slick road conditions led to a multivehicle pileup that seriously injured a police officer on a motorcycle Sunday.

The crash happened at East Tremont Avenue near 180th Street, where three cars were first involved in the wreck before the NYPD officer collided with the other cars.

News 12 is told the officer is 26 years old.

He was taken to Jacobi Medical Center for treatment and there is no word on his condition.

The drivers of the other vehicles involved in the crash remained at the scene after the officer was taken away for treatment.
