A woman was arrested in Stamford Monday for allegedly stabbing a man with a kitchen knife.

News 12 is told the 23-year-old woman went to the individual’s home on Montauk Drive demanding money from the victim.

Officials say she then grabbed a 10-inch kitchen knife and stabbed the man.

Police say the man was not severely punctured in the chest because the handle on the knife broke.

The victim was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
