Soundview residents joined together to remember a woman who was brutally killed earlier this week.

Zoila Feliz, 22, was found dead inside her apartment on Stratford Avenue next to her 2-year-old child, Jaylen.

The victim's ex-boyfriend and father of their child, Darrin Rose, has been arrested and faces charges that include manslaughter and murder.

Those who knew Feliz say they will remember her smile and kind personality.

Elected officials also came to the candlelight vigil to talk about domestic violence.

Zoila's mother Margarita Feliz is now taking care of Jaylen.
