Video coming out of Southern Connecticut State University shows a former Milford officer defying the odds.

Collin Walsh was a track star in high school and college, but soon into his career, he was diagnosed with a rare, aggressive form of multiple sclerosis.

Walsh was told he'd never walk again, but he made a big return this past weekend at the college, competing at an Alumni Track and Field Meet.

He had a crowd of fans cheering him on.
