Police in Stamford say they handed out a ticket to the driver of a car that struck a little boy walking to school.
It happened Wednesday morning on Willowbrook Avenue and Hale Street.
According to police, the 7-year-old was in the crosswalk when the car turned and hit him.
The boy wasn't badly hurt, but went to the hospital as a precaution.
