A woman living in Bay Ridge says what looms next door is so frightening that she feels unsafe in her home.

"I come home from wherever I am, whatever time it is, I put the key in the door and as soon as I do that, my stomach drops," says Kelly Amen.

Amen says that ever since a new owner took over the home next door, it has fallen into disrepair.

"There's raccoons in there, possums in there. He has no downspout or gutter on the back of house. The water is coming in destroying my kitchen ceiling," she says. 

A summons was also issued by the Sanitation Department for the homeowner's failure to keep the front of the house clean.
