NEW YORK -

Apple and Amazon may be pushing to expand in Saudi Arabia. Apple is in talks to open a retail store in the kingdom, according to Reuters. Amazon's focus is on its cloud services business. Saudi Arabia has been easing restrictions on foreign companies operating in the region as it tries to diversify its oil-based economy.

Instagram quietly added a new feature called “Recommended for You." It shows photos in your feed from people and brands you're not following. Users previously had to go to the "Discover" tab to see different posts.

Starbucks is going black tie for New Year's, brewing up limited edition Black and White mocha drinks to celebrate 2018 in style. The drinks are made with dark and white chocolate mocha, topped with a line of "sparkly chocolate sequins to resemble a black tie." The drinks are available now through the first week of January.
