A new study puts New Jersey among the top three “most moved from” states in 2017.

United Van Lines’ annual list found that 63 percent of New Jersey moves were outbound, ranking it at No. 2.

Illinois was the only other state with more outbound moves last year. New Jersey previously held the top spot for five consecutive years.

Connecticut and New York also ranked in the top five.

The state with the most inbound moves in 2017 was Vermont, according to United Van Lines’ data.
