6 hospitalized after fire at Westbury apartment building

Officials say six people have been hospitalized after a fire at a Westbury apartment building.
According to fire officials, the fire started in an apartment on the third floor of the “Westbury Terrace” apartments on Post Avenue around 12:30 a.m.
Officials say the only person living in that apartment was rushed to the hospital with burns.
A total of four police officers and one member of the Westbury Fire Department suffered smoke inhalation. All the other residents returned to their apartment.
The cause of the fire is not clear.
