RIVERDALE -

Snow has started to fall in Riverdale as a nor'easter is expected to dump heavy amounts of snow across the region Wednesday.

The snow began coating parked cars and left a slushy accumulation on the streets and sidewalks.

The streets and sidewalks are becoming slippery.

Heavy snow could leave up to 10 inches on the ground by the time the storm is over later Wednesday evening.
