Snowstorm recap with the News 12 team
The second major storm in less than a week moved up the East Coast early Wednesday, dumping heavy snow and knocking out power to hundreds of thousands of homes and businesses from Pennsylvania to New England.
News 12 news crews were outside in the field as the nor'easter came down with force.
From the Bronx to Brooklyn, News 12 reported on the winter storm, bringing its viewers 24-hour news coverage.
The storm dumped nearly 2 feet of snow in an extremely heavy snow-band just north and west of New York city.
Areas surrounding the city measured 5-10 inches of snow, but the city measured 2-4 inches in most places.
The snowstorm came less than a week after another nor'easter knocked out power to thousands across the tri-state.
