Hundreds of Bronx residents remained without power Friday, two days after the second of two nor'easters slammed the region within a week.
A block of Sylvan Avenue was still shut down near West 256th Street, where power lines dipped into the street under the weight of a fallen tree.
Some customers said they were told they'd have power restored by Tuesday. But when that didn't happen, the second storm on Wednesday set back their hopes.
One Riverdale resident even told News 12 the power outage left him working out of his car. Another elderly couple said that without power they felt cold and helpless.
Con Edison said it was continuing work to restore power.
