A livery driver was stabbed by his fare in the Bronx, police say.
The incident happened Sunday at the corner of E. 149th Street and Southern Boulevard around 5 a.m.
Police say the 44-year-old driver picked up the suspect before a verbal dispute occurred between the two.
The suspect pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed the driver once before leaving the cab and running away, police say.
The driver was taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.
The stabbing comes after a 26-year-old Uber diver was shot several times by a passenger in an unrelated incident Sunday in the Bronx.
Police are still searching for both suspects.
