PELHAM BAY -

Police are searching for five suspects they say robbed a Burger King.

Police say five people broke into the Burger King restaurant on the 3200 block of Westchester Avenue around 3 a.m. Sunday.

Surveillance video shows one male and a female enter the Burger King then sit on the counter. Later, three other males enter the restaurant and stopped to take selfies.

The group then began to damage equipment in the Burger King and police say they also removed various food items.

The general manager says they broke the cookie pan and sprayed ketchup and all types of sauce over the walls.

News 12 is told that the restaurant is back open for business and has fixed most of the damage.

No arrests have been made.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
