Police: 2 men attack, rob man near Echo Park

Police are looking for two men they say violently ambushed a man and robbed him of $60.
Investigators say the attack happened on March 18 just after 11 a.m.
Rafael Fuentes told News 12 he was walking into his apartment at 340 Echo Place when the men approached him from behind and threw him to the ground in a choke hold. He says the suspects then stabbed him in the face and arm as they went through his pockets. Fuentes had to get over 30 stitches, but he says he is happy to be alive.
Police tell News 12 the two suspects go away with $60 before fleeing toward Echo Park.
